Yup, it's July 4th.
Gabriel did you know that on July 4, 1776 we claimed our independence from Britain.
Wow, that was 235 years ago!
Democracy began then in the United States too!
I am so happy that we live in the land of the free
and the home of the brave!
Isabella we need to talk about our troops and veterans.
Yup, they are the reason we are able to have a country that is free!
They sure are!
Sometimes they have to spend time away from their families to protect us!
I am happy that they help to keep our country safe.
