World Down Syndrome Day takes place on the 21st of March every year. This date represents the 3 copies of chromosome 21.
Gabriel decided to bust out some more words today. He signed and said "ball", "book" and "hi" today for his daddy. He has missed a week and a half of school at this point. He is still coughing and very stuffy right now. Hopefully he will be able to show off his skills on Wednesday!
Gabe was discussing Gabriel's new signs with me when I got home today. For some reason we signed mom and dad while talking about how we wish he knew what they stood for. Sure enough the little monster signed mom and said "mama" then signed dad and said "dada". I asked him who I was and sure enough the stinker pointed at me, signed and said "mama". Needless to say, I am so excited, He has started saying 8 words with meaning in the last four days!!! AMAZING.
Happy World Down Syndrome Day big brother
