Both kids went to the our pediatrician first thing this morning. Isabella has a simple cold, Tylenol and love is all she needs. Gabriel is not so simple. Our pediatrician is pretty sure he as a sinus infection. It explains Gabriel's high temperature as well as his very red throat. He has also popped up with an ear infection in his left ear of course.
After taking his antibiotic this morning Gabriel appeared to be on the path to getting better. He had not vomited since 3pm on Monday. He spent a few moments playing before crawling back into my lap to rest. At 4pm he vomited again. This time is sounded like he coughed as he vomited. We are wondering if this time it has more to do with his sinus infection than the flu he had earlier. I am sure it is all intertwined either way. Never the less my little man is still feeling like poo. He cries every time I set him down. He does not want to be any other place than in somebody's arms or lap. Papa came to see how Gabriel was doing today. Gabriel couldn't even come up with enough energy to fully wave good bye. He half go this arm up before dropping it back down and laying his head back down.
I am hoping to see Gabriel feeling better tomorrow once he has been on antibiotic for 24 hours. I have to go to work in the morning. I know he will be in good hands with Mimi and Papa. It is just hard to be 45 minutes away when you know your little one is hurting!
On an exciting side note. Some of our Gerber house party items arrived. Abby, Tyce, Lily, Kaitlyn, her little brother Ty, Gabriel and Isabella are going to have a blast Sunday!!!! The big kids will have a blast playing in the playland while the little crew chill with the adults enjoying out Gerber party packs. Box #2 is to arrive tomorrow. I am so excited!
Here is a sneak peek of the Gerber house party box 1...
Isabella is all smiles when she sees the camera... (only because the camera was close enough she almost grabbed it right out of her mothers hands)
Gabriel's face when he was set down at all today
finally passed out with out someone having to hold him... sadly it was in a chair and i was afraid he would fall out so he did not get to stay that way long. You have to love the antibiotic mustache he has going on...
