February 6th
We met with Dr. Bove today. He will be doing Gabriel's surgery. Surgery will officially take place February 6th at Mott's Children's Hospital. They will be calling with the official time but Dr. Bove said he thinks Gabriel will be the first surgery of the day on the 6th. I will write more when I have some time to process everything. I don't know how having a date changes things but it does! Off I go to cuddle Gabriel for a little bit.

My little buddy is in the best hands: Mommy and daddy, surgeon, and God. He will do just fine and we will all not recognize him afterwards. Just think how long he will be able to laugh and not get tired!

Yep...been there, done that!!! Getting an actual date hit me so hard. Grampa has it right though...God will see you through. You are in my thoughts and prayers. God bless you!

Hey...thoughts and prayers of course...but also remember that I live close and you (and/or family) are welcome any time day or night. No need to call (well maybe to wake me up) just stop by! Hang in there and I agree that the little man has the best Mommy and Daddy...he couldn't ask for better!

I just saw your post on babycenter. Both my daughters had AVCanal defects and are teenagers now. Many prayers out to your little man!
