conferences

I love and hate conferences.  As a parent I love the time to check in with Gabriel's teachers to see how he is doing and what we are going to work on next.  As a teacher 3pm-7:30pm after a 7:30am-2:45pm regular school day is very draining!  I hope to always remember as a parent how difficult conferences are after a long day for teachers.  I think I will always take a healthy snack and a bit of chocolate in when I go to the kids conferences.
