Bro-Ther, I did not see you after nap time on the playground, where did you go?
To the hospital Sis.
Why would you choose to do that?
I did not choose to go to the hospital Sis, who would choose to go to the hospital.
Well then why did you go?
I am sick Sis!
I could have told you that!
Sis, listen to me...
I always listen to you, it is just that sometimes it is with selective hearing, Bro-Ther.
I started to not feel good yesterday.
Today at daycare I wouldn't let Miss. Ashley leave my side, she called mom.
Then when I got back from school I was running a 101 fever and Miss. Ashley called again.
By the time we were heading to the hospital I had Tylenol in my system for two hours but had a 102 temperature.
By the time we got to the ER I was at 105 (I was shaking).
Wow you are Sick!
Ya think?!?!
Mom's notes -
We are home. The final verdict from the hospital... They have no idea what is going on with Gabriel. They are treating what they know. His right tube (that was put in December 5th) is already out and he has an ear infection. He was pretty dehydrated so they gave him fluids. I asked how he can get so dehydrated when he gets his drinks five times a day at specific times. They said it was caused due to his high temperatures and it was nothing we caused, thank goodness. Gabriel was down to a normal temperature before we left the hospital. He is back up to a 101 temperature right now. I have to admit, when we headed to the hospital I was kind of frustrated figuring he did not need anything the pediatrician couldn't do in his office. I am glad we ended up going the ER when all is said and done. Hopefully we can keep Gabriel's temperature down and get through this without heading back!

Feel better, Gabriel. Erin, please let me know if there is anything that I can do to help.
ReplyDeleteAgain, the Day Care is amazing. Thank you, Ms Ashley and everyone else there, for watching over my favorite Grandson. grampsH
ReplyDeletePoor little bumpkin. 105 is really, really bad. Doesn't take long to dehydrate at that temp!
