So, Isabella and I have some big news...
No mom is not going to have another Thing!
Crazy people!
We won't be telling you the news until the project is complete!
Daddy, Papa and I have been very hard at work the last few days!
We got one of the coolest presents ever (Daddy says he wants to send it back because has been a lot of work).
Bro-Ther, it is so close to being done... you have to be quiet!
But it is SO COOL Sis!
I know but mom has been working very hard to document the whole transformation.
She wont take it away if we tell Sis.
Are you sure?
We better not chance it, huh?
Nope, this is just too cool!!!
Mom's notes -
Isabella had a well visit at the doctors office yesterday. She is 27 pounds (45th percentile) and 36 inches (85th percentile). She is getting so big. We have been fighting almost a month to get ride of Isabella's double ear infections. This time she is on stronger anti-biotic. Over all she is doing very well!
Gabriel had his well visit at the doctors office today. He is 28 pounds (3rd percentile on regular growth chart and 25th percentile on the Down syndrome chart) and 37.5 inches (12th percentile on the regular growth chart and above the 95th percentile on the Down syndrome chart). I have two tall and skinny kiddo's. The doctor was very worried about Gabriel. Though Gabriel has not been acting sick he is pretty sick right now. He has several infections going on at once. This worries the doctor because it hurts his immune system and opens him up for other infections or the infections he has getting worse. Gabriel's right tube is no longer in his ear. The ear is very infected. He has been pointing to his ear the last few days and saying owiee but we thought he was copying Sis. Gabriel also has a sinus infection, go figure. Though he has not been snotting as much as he usually does when he has an infection. Gabriel has a double eye infection which we knew was an issue. Gabriel's cheeks have have staph infection again (or still). They were looking better but never looked completely good. They have a odd yellow tint to them right now on top of the burning red. That is a lot of infection on one little face right now. Poor little man! The doctor sent us home with a pretty strong antibiotic. We are to watch. If Gabriel isn't eating, drinking or is running a fever we are to take him to the ER immediately. If he is not appearing to be getting better in a couple days we are to take Gabriel to the ER to receive IV antibiotic. The worry again is that this infection will get worse or his immune system wont be able to fight off other infections.
Cross your fingers for no rain tomorrow so that the kids can reveal the present they received.
