Lovely day, lovely family

My family came up for Christmas today.  They all live in the Lansing area and drove the two hours out to our place so that we could be home the day before Gabriel's surgery.  My parents took Isabella home with them to care for her until we are out of the hospital. 
Isabella completely thinks she is two years old.  Here she is watching Val's every move to copy as soon as Val isn't watching.

Very sleepy Gabriel resting on Gabe.  We need to remember not to plan Christmas with my family over lunch.  Two years in a row.  You would think we would learn!

Getting Ready

How is it that my children aren't even three years old yet and they BOTH dragged their feet when it was time for bed?
Playing with a little early christmas present!


Of course BucketHead would have to put his new drum on his head.

In effort to not go to bed, Gabriel decided he HAD to have his Elmo slippers on OVER his footsies.  


Isabella decided to help...



I am amazed Isabella did not hit her brother with the roll!  He would have hit her if he wasn't so interested in his slippers!
