Tired
Gabriel did not sleep much last night hoping for more sleep tonight. Isabella is teething and letting everyone know about it. Daddy is exhausted. Mommy is tired. That is the Purdy families status tonight. I am honestly too tired to even upload a picture.

Football let downs
Well, our Minnesota Vikings couldn't even hold it down against the Detroit Lions today. We dressed up for the game in hopes that it would help the Vikings pull off a win...
What happened to the Vikings today Gabriel... "I don't know!"
We are not really sure what is wrong with Gabriel right now. He has not really gone poo much since surgery. He is not sleeping well when he is actually sleeping. He is a complete mess.
I know he is in pain. I know he is running around as much as he can and then crying the rest of the time. I know that he will not sleep laying down (even with bed tilted). I know that as I look at the pictures for today I can see that his throat are is still swollen.
Gabe has helped me with sitting upright and holding Gabriel through the night. Tonight I lose my helper. We head back to the reality of work tonight and I can honestly say I am not looking forward to it one bit.
It is times like this where I really wish Gabriel could communicate!

What is this thing you call sleep?
I am not really sure what this thing called sleep is. I am also in the dark about rest, relaxation and so many more things I hear other speaking about. Some day I hope to learn!
With Isabella home Gabriel is doing too much. He was in tears most of the evening yesterday. It continued though the night and all day today. How do you keep these two still so that Gabriel is not in so much pain? Gabe and I took turns sitting up with Gabriel last night. Poor kid hurt so bad he couldn't get comfortable, meds are not touching it at this point. I have a feeling the same thing is going to happen tonight.
Michigan State and University of Michigan both had awful showings in their bowl games today. We dressed up for the occasion anyway. I can't believe they aren't both in State stuff! We do love the University of Michigan for doing amazing open heart surgery of Gabriel but still... Even our children fight over which school is better :)

When all was said and done they realized that both schools sucked it up today and decided to just get along until basketball!
